ECAL was conceived as part of a design contest at the University of Art and Design in Lausanne, Switzerland. As with the LOOP design, ECAL Stool and Table play to the strength of the FRC material by utilising just a single seamless band to form their shape.
The Stool is very flexible and makes good extra seating for dining both indoors and out. The ECAL table is large and low, like a coffee table, and can be combined with both the SPONECK and LOOP chairs equally well.
