Black Phormium
Phormium ‘Platt's Black’ Common name: New Zealand Flax
Phormiums are eyecatching exotic plants with a mass of strappy sword shaped leaves. Our ‘Platt’s Black’ phormiums have narrow fairly upright leaves in a dark purple-brown shade. They need minimal attention: just remove any dead or damaged leaves in late Spring. The larger size is not much taller than the small, but is fuller and more mature.
