IOTA’s contemporary garden planters at Decorex 2007

New IOTA Planter Ranges Launched at GLEE and Decorex 2007

IOTA’s Marmoris and Fresco planter ranges

were launched to the British garden centre trade at Glee 2007, shown alongside other established ranges in granite, slate and fibreglass.

Said Chief Executive, Mark Chessell:

‘We feel IOTA’s reputation for quality and innovation will be greatly enhanced by the introduction of these new planter ranges, and we are encouraged by the take-up and level of interest expressed at the show. We experienced a similarly positive reaction earlier this month at both Decorex in London and Spoga in Cologne.”

The introduction of these new planter ranges

completes a two-year process of strategic product repositioning for the company. IOTA has now exited all mid-market garden pot sectors, such as terrazzo, to concentrate exclusively on ‘premium planters’ with the emphasis on modern styling and high quality construction. As further explained by Mark Chessell: “We now specialize in natural stone, and other premium materials, to create uniquely beautiful, strong and durable planters, suitable for both residential and commercial use".

Each year new garden art designs

are added to IOTA’s exclusive collection, and several specially commissioned pieces by renowned British artist John Clive were also shown at GLEE. These pieces are to be marketed under the brand ‘Artforms’ garden sculpture, which will include some designs from the Spectra collection first shown at GLEE 2006.
