Hamilton Quay, Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne

Bespoke steel planters were commissioned for the communal podium deck at Hamilton Quay, in the heart of Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne.

This was a sizeable project, and a total of 28nr. large planters were supplied, in a range of shapes and sizes – from square tree planters of dims. L / W 1500 x H 1100mm, to rectangular shrub planters of various dims. up to L 2960 x W 1000 x H 600mm.  

The planters were manufactured from 2.0mm and 3.0mm thick Zintec Steel, with a Polyester Powder Coated [PPC] finish in RAL 5010 [Gentian blue], and Interpon 610 Bismuth – MX302L. Given the coastal location, a robust 4-stage paint system was applied suitable for C3/C4 environments.
