A diverse selection of planters was supplied to Lancer Square in Kensington, showcasing the breadth of IOTA’s product offer and capabilities – which covers both extensive stock ranges, plus highly skilled bespoke design and manufacture.
Imposing Forum Conical 1000 planters create a sense of arrival at Lancer Square’s main Reception. Forum is made from top quality fibreglass [GRP] which is extremely robust and completely weatherproof; and its ‘Espresso’ colour is black with the faintest hint of brown, which blends particularly well here with the fretwork screen detailing at the main entrance.
Kyoto 70 planters from IOTA’s Boulevard range are showcased within the landscaped courtyard garden which lies at the heart of the development. Available as standard in RAL 7016 [Anthracite grey], the Kyoto planters at Lancer Square were custom-coloured to RAL 8022 [Black brown]. Boulevard is a range of large, sculptural planters, combining elegant design with a high performance fibre-reinforced cement [FRC] material.
Finally, the most significant element of IOTA’s brief was the design and fabrication of 4nr. large powder coated steel planters to surround and protect basement roof lights. These planters, up to 10m in length, were shaped to significant falls; and they were designed around obstacles, such as smoke vents, and to be integrated with LED underlighting. The planters were manufactured from 2.0mm thick Zintec Steel; and they were powder coated with a specialist product from Swiss paint manufacturer IGP [IGP-DURA xal 4201 in colour Schwarzbraun].
