University of Oxford – Big Data Institute – Oxford OX3

Bespoke steel planters were commissioned for the Big Data Institute at Oxford University, Oxford OX3.

IOTA delivered a basket of bespoke designs for this scheme, comprising free-standing and movable tree planters, fixed planters for shrubs, and long trough planters with sloped bases to accommodate a fall.    

Shrub planters and trough planters, of various dims., were fabricated from 2.0mm Zintec Steel, Polyester Powder Coated to RAL 7021 [Black grey]. Tree planters of dims. L 2000 x W 2000 x H 900mm were scaled up to 3.0mm, and were PPC finished to RAL 1035 [Pearl beige].   

IOTA’s planters were commissioned directly by the University Parks and Estates Services Department of the University of Oxford, on the basis of Design, Manufacture and Supply.
