IOTA garden furniture was selected to feature in one of the most talked-about gardens of Chelsea 2023 – the RHS Eastern Eye Garden of Unity designed by Manoj Malde. Manoj is the RHS’ Ambassador for diversity and inclusivity, and his aim was to create a garden to promote horticulture for everyone, everywhere.
A dazzling colour palette of orange and pink was inspired by Manoj’s Indian heritage and the boldness of clashing sari colours worn by Indian women. Bright posts positioned around the garden with sentences in braille, demonstrate that gardens and gardening are for everyone regardless of race, colour, creed, sexuality or disability – a space to garden and be included with kindness and humanity is every person's birthright.

This seating is supplied by Swiss Pearl – IOTA is the UK distributor – whose products showcase the best in European designer garden furniture. Made in Switzerland from strong, lightweight FRC (Fibre Reinforced Cement), it is minimalist, sculptural, and ergonomically designed. Commonly chosen for its strong, architectural appearance, it offers great informal seating for a contemporary relaxed garden.
This is the third Chelsea show outing for this seating, having featured most recently in a garden by Diarmuid Gavin.
