University of East London [UEL]

IOTA’s Boulevard planters were selected for extensive upgrades to exterior communal spaces, at both the Stratford and Docklands campuses of the University of East London [UEL].

A total of 42 large planters were used in this scheme, specifically the three largest sizes of the KYOTO design – KYOTO 70 [H54 Dia70cm], KYOTO 90 [H70 Dia90cm], and KYOTO 120 [H90 Dia120cm]. The standard colour was chosen – RAL 7016 [Anthracite grey].

Boulevard planters are a range of high-performance composite planters made from a proprietary form of Fibre Reinforced Cement [FRC]. All Boulevard planters possess an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, making them suitable for a wide range of environments – from weight-restricted areas, to interiors, to public spaces and streetscapes.
