Moda Living – The McEwan

Project Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

IOTA was commissioned to design, manufacture, supply and install bespoke Zinc-clad Steel planters for the McEwan Build to Rent apartment building in Edinburgh.

The order was for a total of 10nr. large planters, with varying dims. and arrangements, up to the largest L 6000 x W 600 x H 450mm. All planters were manufactured from 2.0mm Zintec Steel, clad with 1.2mm Zinc sheet, supplied pre-patinated.

The McEwan is a Build to Rent [BTR] apartment building owned by the Moda Group under its Moda Living brand. It comprises 337nr. interior-designed rental homes with state-of-the-art amenities, including residents' gym and studio, cinema room, co-working space, resident lounges and roof terraces, plus 24/7 security. IOTA’s planters are used to green three communal terraces, accessible to all residents.
