Tranley Mews, Hampstead, London NW3

Large bespoke steel planter / benches, with LED underlighting, were commissioned for a commercial office courtyard space in Hampstead, London NW3.

The largest planter / bench was L 14646 x W 1300 x H 800mm, the smallest being L 6500mm with the same footprint. Both planter / benches were fabricated in complex, multi-section format for on-site assembly, with installation also conducted by IOTA. Substantial seating timbers – in FSC Iroko treated with Osmo UV protection – were cantilevered off the face of the planters, and backrests were also included. IOTA also supplied the planter / benches with in-built LED underlighting.

IOTA’s planter / benches were commissioned by the office owners QS Quacquarelli Symonds Limited, and IOTA’s manufacturing designs were based on a concept design by Concept Landscape Architect.
