Whitechapel

Project Location: London E1

Bespoke steel planters were commissioned for the refurbishment of The White Chapel Building, 10 Whitechapel High Street. London E1.

A series of planters were designed and supplied, in a variety of configurations, to create a planted perimeter around an outside seating and dining terrace. The planters were mostly of multi-section format; and many of the planter bases were sloped, and contained adjustable feet, to accommodate various falls. The planters were manufactured from 2.0mm thick Zintec Steel, Polyester Powder Coated to RAL 9011 [Graphite black].

The White Chapel Building is a £200+ million refurbishment by Derwent London of an eight-storey building located directly opposite Aldgate East underground station. Designed by Fletcher Priest Architects, the building has been extensively remodelled internally to provide 200,000 ft² of high-specification Cat A space, including provision of a new entrance and open plan reception area.
