Bespoke steel tree planters were commissioned for public realm improvements in Darlington town centre.
27nr. L 1000 x W 1000 x H 1000mm tree planters were manufactured from 3.0mm Zintec Steel, and included standard tree planter features – namely: diagonal cross-braces, creating a large central void for tree root balls; plus 4nr. steel eye bolts in the base for tree anchor attachment. The planter design also included stainless steel-lined channels in the base, for movement via forklift. The planters were Polyester Powder Coated to RAL 9006 [White aluminium].
IOTA’s planters were commissioned by Darlington Borough Council, and they formed part of an initiative to green the Market Square area of the town.
