IOTA was commissioned to supply bold, statement planters for the major waterfront regeneration project at Princes Dock in Hull.
The focal points of the planter-based landscaping are 12nr. huge ‘Long Tom’ conical tree planters standing 1500mm tall with a diameter of 1330mm, arranged with 20nr. IOTA standard trough planters of dims. 1700 x 450 x 450mmH. These 32nr. planters all include adjustable feet, channels at the base to facilitate movement via fork lift, plus 25mm Celotex thermal insulation to all planter walls and bases.
Additional planting is provided by a total of 123 linear m of continuous, multi-sectional planters; with sections shaped to falls, and also including thermal insulation.
All planters were fabricated from 3.0mm Zintec steel, powder coated to striking effect with Interpon D2525 Y2217F Steel Bronze 2.
